At first glance, everything seemed so simple—stop a mad scientist, liberate the land, and ride off into the sunset. GAME FEATURES
◼️ THREE DIFFERENT CLASSES—In this continuation of the gothic noir adventure, you can choose from three very different classes: the classic hunter, proficient with firearms and melee skills; the thaumaturgus, who specializes in magical rites; and the Mechanic-Sorcerer, an expert in deadly traps. All these classes are included in the base game.
◼️ HUNTER'S LAIR — The Lair returns in the sequel. It's the perfect place to store your collected treasures, trade with NPCs, teleport around the world, craft new items, use the alchemy lab, and receive new quests from allies who have joined the Resistance to fight evil science.
◼️ EXPANDED TOWER DEFENSE MINI-GAME — In this game, you must defend your Lair and other strategically important areas from waves of attacking enemies, using traps and several upgradable features to repel evil. The mini-game mechanics have been improved, and 7 more levels have been added as additional side quests.
◼️ RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT — As the leader of the Borgovian Resistance, you will command allied forces, upgrade the equipment of Resistance fighters, and search for items that will enhance them.
◼️ RAGE SYSTEM — You can charge up to three skill modifiers, called buffs, for 8 active skills. This is done using Rage points earned for impressive achievements.
◼️ UNIQUE COMPANION — Lady Katarina, a sharp-tongued ghost who comes to Van Helsing's aid, has her own set of abilities, behaviors, and two skill trees.
◼️ RUNECRAFT — In addition to crafting, enchanting, and imbuing items with essences, another option has been added to customize items. Artifacts can be dismantled and broken into magical fragments, which can be turned into magical runes. These runes, in turn, can be modified and embedded into new items, transforming them into various powerful artifacts.
◼️ BEAST IN THE LAIR — The Chimera is a unique creature. It is an artificial monster straight from the depths of the Darkness, whose abilities can be improved over time. It can be sent into battle, as well as into the Darkness to hunt for treasure.
◼️ TROPHY HALL — Decorate your Lair with trophies that impact the game world, whether it's empowering monsters, increasing the magical abilities of all allies, or transforming Katarina into a more deadly wraith.
◼️ MULTIPLAYER MODE — Test your strength against friends in PVP (8 players) or join forces and complete the story campaign in co-op (4 players).
