Multiplayer game with passive cooperation
As you wander through the vast open world of Ashen, you'll encounter other players from time to time, much like you did in the passive multiplayer Journey. Only you can decide how to behave - fight evil together, invite you into your group, or silently pass by.

Like Souls, but with a twist
Ashen uses a stamina-based combat system (a la Dark Souls) and offers players wide open spaces in a harsh yet inviting world. However, there is also a peculiarity: constantly changing gameplay. Whether it’s unexplored swamps, untrodden fjords or searching for prey in an ancient palace - the direction of events can change dramatically at any moment depending on where you are. This is a brutal open world, and you just live here.
