The "Longbeards Culture" expansion adds three new playable factions to Total War: ATTILA: the Lombards, the Burgundians, and the Alemanni. They can be used in single-player and multiplayer campaigns, as well as custom and online battles.
After centuries of Roman rule, these formidable and warlike Germanic kingdoms have finally decided to launch wars of conquest and expand their territory. To the south lie the lands of the Western Roman Empire – weakly defended and rich in loot... A unique collection of new buildings, units, and faction traits. "Longbeard Culture" will allow you to fully experience the chaotic atmosphere of that historical era.
Incidentally, historically, these three factions later founded some of the most powerful empires of the Middle Ages. Will you be able to wield their power and create these empires yourself?
• Cultural Trait (Barbarian Kingdoms)
New Kingdoms: Building Conversion Speed -50
• Unique Campaign with a Unified Plot: The Tale of Ybor
Playing with the new factions will offer you the "Tale of Ybor" campaign, inspired by an ancient Germanic saga. Here you can control the actions of the renowned hero. Near the end of the story, Ybor will become available to you as a general in your army, and the choices you make earlier will determine the abilities he receives.
• Unique Faction Traits
Each of the new factions has traits that influence playstyle in the main campaign.
• Unique Quests
Players who begin the campaign as the Lombards, Burgundians, or Alemanni will receive a series of unique quests. One of them, in particular, will ask you to abandon your homes and become a true nomadic people. In return, you will receive a substantial sum.
• Unique Troops
In addition to the Germanic barbarian troops, the Burgundians, Lombards, and Alemanni have access to a number of faction-specific troops.
• New Auxiliary Items
